LEGO Pirates Theme To End in Mid-2010!!

ForbiddenCove.com was the first fansite to bring you the news of the announcement to the LEGO Ambassadors that the LEGO Pirates theme will end in mid-2010. This is very disappointing news to ForbiddenCove members and other fans of the theme.
Our representative LEGO Ambassador, Ben Ellermann, has started a petition for all Cove members to sign, and will be
forwarding this information to The LEGO Group, to see if the Pirates theme can be retained in some manner.
The Cove Admins feel that this news is especially disheartening after comments were made by TLG over the past years that LEGO Pirates is an "evergreen", or
"perpetual" theme, such as Castle and City (Town).
If you have a voice and want to be heard, now is the time for action! Make a difference and speak up in the petition
thread! Let your opinion be known to The LEGO Group that the Pirates theme should continue!!
